Before Braces

The American Association recommends that children get their first orthodontic check up no later than age 7. At Carter Orthodontics, we provide a free early evaluation, to give your child the best opportunity for a healthy and beautiful smile. Detecting orthodontic problems at this age does not always mean that orthodontic treatment should be initiated. Dr. David will evaluate your child to discuss whether early intervention would be beneficial at this time. To schedule your child’s first orthodontic checkup, call Carter Orthodontics at (706) 650-0468 or sign up below.

Testimonials

In preparation for his braces, my son was to get four spacers put in last week, but only ended up needing one after further insurrection. He (of course!) flossed it out a few days later. We went in today to have it reinstalled. Apparently there was a mistake concerning which teeth my child should have spacers between. The assistant came out to the waiting room and explained what was taking so long (and also handed me a little envelope with a once very loose baby tooth in it that she so kindly removed) and that a mistake was made as to which tooth the spacers were to go between and she would be installing them in the correct place so that his mouth would be prepared for braces on Monday . These ladies are just as sweet as I remember from when I was young (just yesterday...I promise!)and was having orthodontia work done!! Very pleased with the way the mistake was handled and praising all who worked on my son for catching it! Because, let's face, mistakes sometimes happen!
