About Dr. David Carter
Dr. David Carter is an orthodontist and the lead orthodontist at Carter Orthodontics, serving patients throughout the CSRA, including Augusta and Martinez, Georgia, and North Augusta and Aiken, South Carolina.
Dr. Carter has more than 20 years of experience in orthodontics. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree and a Master of Science in Orthodontics. He is also the President of the American Aligner Society, a professional organization focused on advancing education and knowledge in clear aligner orthodontic treatment.
As part of the Carter family orthodontic tradition, Dr. Carter continues a practice history spanning more than 50 years. His father practiced orthodontics for approximately 30 years before Dr. Carter continued the family tradition.
Dr. Carter provides orthodontic treatment for children, teens, and adults, with treatment options including traditional braces, ceramic braces, clear aligners, hybrid braces, early orthodontic treatment, and other orthodontic services.
He is also a Parents’ Choice Award winner and provides personalized orthodontic care to patients throughout the CSRA.
