Carter Orthodontics is a family orthodontic practice serving children, teens, and adults throughout the CSRA, with offices in Georgia and South Carolina.
The Carter family has provided orthodontic care to families in the CSRA for more than 50 years. Dr. David Carter’s father practiced orthodontics for approximately 30 years before Dr. Carter continued the family tradition. Dr. Carter has more than 20 years of orthodontic experience.
Carter Orthodontics focuses on personalized orthodontic care using modern orthodontic technology and treatment techniques. The practice provides treatment options designed for different ages, orthodontic needs, lifestyles, and budgets.

Founder & Lead Orthodontist
Dr. David Carter has more than 20 years of orthodontic experience and is identified by the practice as President of the American Aligner Society. He holds a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree and a Master of Science in Orthodontics. Parents’ Choice Award winner.
Treatment areas: clear aligners, early interceptive orthodontics, traditional metal braces, ceramic braces, hybrid braces, Invisalign Teen, TMJ disorder management, and retention and smile maintenance.
