I found your office staff at the North Augusta not responsive to my calls and later follow-up calls following my surgery with Dr Brandon Coleman. In Dr Carter's Fury's Ferry office the receptionist and staff have been professional and service great. However in returning my calls to Dr Coleman's, North Augusta Office, following my surgery, I have been unhappy not getting my calls returned nor not getting them returned in a reasonable number of days. I have been very pleased with the dental work done in the Fury's Ferry Office and North Augusta Office. My only problem has been after the surgery, the problems with phone calls with North Augusta Office.

The ladies who work with my boys' braces always make sure my boys know how important dental hygiene is, but don't degrade them when teeth aren't perfect. I recently saw Dr. Carter after a long absence from his services in early 2000's when my son had braces and I had my lower teeth straightened.I recently again saw Dr. Carter for a retainer repair and ask for a meeting with him about another matter.He went beyond my expectations and I actually viewed my own skull on advanced technology equipment.He was precise and his views were spot on. (I had just returned from the Mayo Clinic in AZ.) I also watched him interact with a young patient in a kind and interested manner.His staff is a team of highly skilled, proficient,and personable people. I am now going to treat my self to his new 364 alignment process for my upper teeth. WE, in the CSRA, are lucky to have such a group as Dr. Carter and his team!

She was indirectly rude. She made it seems as if what I was explaining to her was not so because if I was doing my part then I would not be unhappy with the results thus far. To me it seems as if she was nicely telling me that I am lying about my invisalines and how I wear them. Was very displease with that portion of my appointment today.

I've presented Carter Orthodontist with a unusual case. I am an adult. I was trying to save my molars. My braces were started on the other side of the country. My husband has worked in several different states during my treatment, and I've been to a few orthodontist during 3+ years of treatment. I've been gone for over 5 months. Today I had a 3-D computer scan done by Amanda,( she is awesome), a correction done by Dr. Dave and a plan to finalize my treatment using 3 D printed corrective trays, sent to me by mail!! I was very impressed by Dr. Carter and how great he made Elizabeth and me both feel about the whole experience. Dr. Carter was highly recommended by my nephew Dr. Todd Weaver and now I know why. Dr. Carter also has a great "bedside manner" about him and that is lost with many doctors today. Brea has a nice, warm, and professional way about her and both Elizabeth and me were impressed with her as she did not try to "rush us in and rush us out" as she answered every question we had and was great about making Elizabeth feel at ease with the whole process. Dr Carter's office has treated my son for 6 years. He initially had braces at 15 for an underbite which was corrected. Dr Carter advised me that there was a chance my son's jaw would grow again as he got older. He has followed him every six months and advised me of any changes he saw. Unfortunately his jaw did grow again and Dr Carter advised me that at this point only surgery would correct it. Dr Carter has always been very honest with us and not offered to do any services that would not help. I highly recommend him

In preparation for his braces, my son was to get four spacers put in last week, but only ended up needing one after further insurrection. He (of course!) flossed it out a few days later. We went in today to have it reinstalled. Apparently there was a mistake concerning which teeth my child should have spacers between. The assistant came out to the waiting room and explained what was taking so long (and also handed me a little envelope with a once very loose baby tooth in it that she so kindly removed) and that a mistake was made as to which tooth the spacers were to go between and she would be installing them in the correct place so that his mouth would be prepared for braces on Monday . These ladies are just as sweet as I remember from when I was young (just yesterday...I promise!)and was having orthodontia work done!! Very pleased with the way the mistake was handled and praising all who worked on my son for catching it! Because, let's face, mistakes sometimes happen!

Upon arrival, there was a note that they were short 2 staff, and if waiting would be a problem, they would re-schedule. We had the time to stay, and it ended up being only 15 minutes. I was impressed that we were notified of a possible wait, even though it's always a possibility, since they don't know for certain how long each patient will need for treatment. The waiting area is comfortable, and the staff members are always kind and helpful. We consistently have a good experience.

Carter Orthodontics has excellent customer service. I went in for an Invisalign ClinCheck this week and I was given my next set of Invisalign aligners. They have to be cut to accommodate the hooks for my rubber band that I wear to correct my overbite. My mistake was not to put them on in the office to make sure they fit. When I got home, I couldn't get them in. I called Carter Orthodontics and was put in touch with Cheryl, the clinic manager. She was working in the Aiken office. When she got off work, she drove back to the Augusta office and trimmed my aligners and left them taped to the door for me to pick up later. Now that's dedication. I love my Invisalign aligners. After 6 months my teeth are noticeably straighter and I don't mind smiling anymore. Thanks to Dr. Carter! My advice to Wendy below would be to make sure you try them on in the office. That would alleviate the problem she had.
